So why do I say that “it’s not an easy decision to make?” Well, quite honestly, I know it’s difficult to talk to a total stranger about what is going on in your life. You don’t know me, and people have told me they fear that there is an unwritten expectation that you will pour your soul out on the first session. But I'm telling you today: you won’t! I believe that as a therapist, I have to earn your trust. It’s my job to provide a trusting environment and to give you time to share what you want to share. The good news is that with over 30 years of experience, my clients have told me that I’m pretty easy to talk to, and that it does not take long for us to develop a rapport.
